Agricultural Data Collection Services

Farming is a process for which traditional practices will work well if followed; for example, you know how much fertilizer and lan to add with each crop in order to produce well. Additionally, production takes up many resources while requiring a lot of labor. Data collection therefore ends up being last in the list of priorities for farmers as regular and effective production can occur without them recording data. However, there is a big gap in the market for agricultural data and AKM aims to fill that gap by providing several data collection strategies. These will not affect the farmers regular operations and provide a simple solution for farmers that would like to capture data themselves.

Data Collection Strategies

AKM calls registered farmers on a monthly basis to collect farming data. This lets the farmer focus on their regular methods but yet contribute to the collection of agricultural data.

Our mobile application, MaxYield is available for those tech savvy farmers who have time to capture their farming data. Each time the app is launched, data from your mobile device is sent to AKM. Even if you lose your phone or accidentally delete the app, you can request us to provide the data as we keep it safe.


Farmers and other stakeholders realise benefits of providing data in instances such as when they would like to start new projects and need available factual data with lessons learnt and proven methods.

Data Policy

The mobile app saves data on the device, and sends the data to us in the background when you launch the app. Device Data Consumption is minimal and the app operates efficiently. Ensure to launch the app regularly to backup to the cloud. You can request this data from us at any time even following deleting the app, all data can be restored. Your database is only shared with the MaxYield version operating on your mobile device, and an official representative of Maestro IT. We only publish and distribute Aggregated Data. If required, registered farmers will be contacted directly for further engagements by Stakeholders with interests.
